Ms. McKinney is the quiet engine that keeps the front office of CFAA (Central Florida Aerospace Academy) running smoothly, efficiently, and with heart. Her role may be titled “secretary,” but her impact reaches far beyond the desk. On any given day, Ms. McKinney seamlessly transitions between managing front office operations, coordinating with district personnel, assisting students in crisis, and ensuring that every visitor is properly screened and welcomed—all while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.

What sets Ms. McKinney apart is her ability to wear many hats without ever losing sight of what matters most: people and safety. Her attention to detail and unwavering commitment to school safety procedures ensure that CFAA remains a secure and supportive environment for all. Ms. McKinney is not just the face of the front office, but the heart of it.

Our school is truly more efficient because of our incredible secretary. Mrs. McKinney, or Ms. Jeri, as we call her, is always on top of every task and random request - no matter how busy she may be. She greets everyone with warmth and a calm presence that instantly puts people at ease. She has a remarkable way of making every person feel valued and important, regardless of their role. Whether she's offering a listening ear, organizing endless paperwork, scheduling an emergency sub, cleaning the office carpet on her own time, or bringing in her delicious baked goods, her efficiency and heart are part of what makes our school great. We simply wouldn't be the same without her.
