She sets high expectations for her students while advocating fiercely for their needs, as well as those of her classroom staff and families. Beyond her classroom, Mrs. Ortega-Reyes is a true team player who contributes to the broader school community in meaningful ways. She volunteers her time to lead after-school interventions, organize Fall Festival activities, facilitate professional development, offer enrichment classes, and has enthusiastically embraced the idea of leading family workshops. Every day, Mrs. Ortega-Reyes leads with integrity. Her patience and positivity serve as a model for her team, creating a classroom environment built on calm, consistent support.
