Mr. Neeley has consistently demonstrated his ability to make a lasting and beneficial impact on the lives of students. Beginning his career in education as an instructional monitor, he worked his way through college while dedicating himself to student growth. He later served as a homebound teacher before becoming the Physical Education teacher at Corbin Primary School, where he now inspires more than 850 students in grades K–3. In addition, he continues to invest in older students as a member of the Corbin High School coaching staff. Throughout every role, he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
One of his greatest strengths is his ability to create a positive and welcoming school atmosphere. His classes are places of joy and energy, where students look forward to learning. While he faithfully teaches Kentucky's physical education standards, he does so by incorporating fun, engaging activities that motivate students of all backgrounds and abilities. This balance of rigor and enjoyment helps children associate school with growth, success, and a sense of belonging.
Mr. Neeley is also recognized as a leader within his school, district, and community. Whether in the classroom, on the football field, or working with families, he leads by example—through integrity, respect, and a student-first mindset.
