Caity's hard work and dedication to help her students succeed is unmatched. I frequently get emails and texts at 1:00 in the morning because she "just thought of something that might work". She is an advocate for all of her kids and knows them well. Because they know she cares for them, her students are receptive to her instruction and they make progress. ALL students make progress in her class; some "pass" state assessments for the first time ever. Furthermore, Caity's dedication doesn't stop with her students. She is also passionate about creating positive relationships with their parents in order to create a team approach to education for her students. This bridge from school to home is essential in the success of her students. I can't think of a more fitting recipient of the Life Changer of the Year Award.

I have known Caity since she was a student in high school and later as a colleague. I can say she found her calling as a classroom teacher! She has a heart for kids like no one else. She wants to see all of her students succeed in the classroom and be successful outside of the classroom as well and does this by building relationships. She cares deeply for her students and is constantly working toward helping them find success in her classroom. Caity thinks outside of the box and becomes very creative with her teaching to keep students engaged. She is a hard worker and goes above and beyond for her students never excepting anything but their absolute best! Caity is also a team player with co-workers and is not afraid to lend a helping hand or pick up the slack when needed to help others.
