I have known Heather for years and throughout those years she has been like a mother figure to me. She takes anyone she can under her wing and supports them. I have had the privilege to me in her classroom and watching her teach students who need that kind of support never fails to amaze me. She does what most people couldn’t even dream of doing. Heather is so deserving of this award.

I had the pleasure of working alongside Heather when she worked for Muskingum County Head Start. She is dedicated to her role as not only a teacher but as a role model to her students. Heather is a selfless person who strives daily to be the best person she can be. Her kindness is something to be admired.
