Ms. Boneva knows that a positive classroom environment is essential for student engagement, academic success, and emotional well-being. In her classroom, she focuses on building strong relationships by holding regular check-ins to show her students that she cares about them. Additionally, Ms. Boneva sets clear expectations with established rules and routines, using positive language and consistency.
Throughout the year, she focuses on respect and inclusion by celebrating diversity through curriculum and classroom activities, as well as encouraging collaborative teaming and teamwork. Students have input on class decisions, topics, or projects. Her ultimate goal is to foster a growth mindset where mistakes are viewed as an integral part of the learning process. She works hard to cultivate a positive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and respected, enabling them to thrive academically and socially.
Ms. Boneva also dedicates a substantial amount of time to after-school activities. Her dedication to the importance of children staying active and understanding a healthy lifestyle is inspiring. Each year, she organizes and leads her students in the Kids Heart Challenge, raising life-saving funds to support heart health and educate children on the importance of staying active and making healthy choices. She has successfully organized free on-campus sports clinics in partnership with the Las Vegas Raiders organization, local wrestling teams, and cheer clubs, providing students with access to professional-level instruction and inspiration at no cost to their families.
Ms. Boneva created and coached several free after-school enrichment clubs, including the Jump Rope Club, Cheer Club, and upcoming Soccer Club. These clubs provide safe and structured opportunities for students to develop skills, stay active, and build confidence outside of the regular school day. She led a student running program to promote fitness, goal-setting, and perseverance. Additionally, this coming school year, Ms. Boneva will start a Walking Club for teachers and students to encourage wellness among students and staff and foster community building throughout the school.
Ms. Boneva is an excellent teacher! She has ideas and games that allow all students to participate and feel good about themselves.
Our students at Gray Elementary are so lucky to have Ms. Boneva as their P.E. teacher! She pushes them to be their best in a kind and caring way. She dedicates her time after school to extracurriculars to enrich students' education. My son attends Gray and he loves P.E. and has learned so much from her.
Ms. Boneva is the best! The kids are always raving about how much they love PE and how they're excited for their next activity! She oversees many students' physical education and plays a vital role in carrying that position of power. Ms. Boneva is prepared for a kinds of students and can be ready for any challenge in front of her. She is consistently building teamwork and relationships and she ensures to explain to the students how important is it for all of it to come together to be successful. Ms. Boneva is a great teacher!

Our students are so fortunate to have Ms. Boneva as their PE teacher. Not only is she knowledgable about physical exercise, she includes her knowledge on the whole body wellbeing including sleep, nutrition, relaxing when we are stressed and beyond. She is wonderful and flexible with those students who are uncomfortable with PE, or awkward with coordination or struggle with overstimulation and creates opportunites for everyone to feel safe and successful in her class. She makes sure there is a wide range of physical activties where almost every child is able to identify at least one physical activity they may wish to continue in their personal life to fulfill their physical fitness health. She is beloved by our students and staff. She is lovely to collaborate with, is full of fun ideas to support students and willing to jump in with her time. energy and ideas!
Mrs. Boneva is the best PE teacher ever! The kids love her so much, and she always does such great activities with the students. I always know if it is a PE day, that my students are going to be excited for PE, and they are going to come back to class with their energy spent. We are so lucky to have Mrs. Boneva!

Ms. Boneva is a dedicated and caring educator. My special education students always look forward to going to her class during the week. They feel welcomed and she has helped them learn the value of teamwork, cooperation, and being a good sport, which is not always easy with students with disabilities. She is a valued member at our school.
Ms. Vesselka Boneva is a great team player who coordinates fun and educational activities to get students moving and to encourage positive teamwork. With meeting the needs of grades Pre-Kindergarten thru 5th grade, Ms. Boneva uses innovative ways to get all students involved. One of our best events was when we had our end of the year Field Day. It was an Olympics theme and students moved from station to station, where each station represented a country. This day also happened to be a day where parents were involved as volunteers, spectators, and participants. She continues to find creative ways to show how fitness are key to overall success in school. Thank you to Ms. Boneva!!

Ms. Boneva is an exceptional Physical Education teacher! Whether it’s indoors or outside, Ms. Boneva and her aide (Sanders) know how to entertain and to actively engage their students.
