As a kindergarten teacher in a Title I school, Ms. Nusker understands that creating a positive classroom environment goes far beyond simply setting expectations. Ms. Nusker recognizes that for many students, this is their first formal school experience. She is committed to making it one that fosters trust and sparks a lifelong love of learning. Ms. Nusker implements consistent routines, calming visuals, and hands-on tools to help young learners navigate their emotions and understand classroom expectations. She has developed creative, weather-themed strategies to make abstract feelings more concrete and relatable, particularly for young children. Inclusivity is also central to her approach; she provides flexible seating, fidgets, and visual supports to meet a variety of student needs.
