She is my colleague at Quezon National High School, where she teaches in the Philippines. She is an amazing teacher with a genuine heart for her learners. She even initiated a program called “Adopt-a-Student,” where teachers can support a financially struggling student to help them finish secondary education. She teaches diligently and always makes sure her students go home carrying both knowledge and values.
She is the best teacher, councilor, mother, professional ans friend I have. I sees her improved professionally and personally. Ms. Mitzie is one of the best J-1 teachers I know. She is not just a family oriented Filipina but more she is a helpful fellow. She answers all general to specific questions we all asked her. She stays optimistic despite depressing situations and sees all things good or bad as opportunities for growth. I am so proud of her.
