I’ve had the privilege of knowing Kaylee for the past seven years, and in that time, I’ve watched her grow into an incredible woman and an even more remarkable teacher. She always puts her students first, pouring her heart into their growth and success, yet still manages to live and love her own life with so much joy. Kaylee has a way of lighting up every room she walks into, spreading happiness and positivity to everyone around her. I have been fortunate enough to watch Kaylee grow up into this beautiful, kind young woman. She is always such a pleasure to be around and lifts everyone around her up. Even when she is feeling stressed herself, she always has a smile and brings positivity to others when they need it. I have been able to witness Kaylee in the classroom setting and see how wonderful she is with her students. She sits with them, listens to them and guides them to be better each day. She is patient, creative and organized, making the learning environment fun. One of the best traits someone can have is always strive to continue learning. Kaylee is doing just that, furthering her own education while putting in the hours to teach her students. Her success is measured by the success of her students and that’s what makes her such a wonderful teacher.
I met Kaylee 4 years ago and from the beginning she has always shown herself to be kind, caring, warm, welcoming, thoughtful and loving. Truly, there aren’t enough adjectives under the moon to describe her and I could continue on if giving the time and space. I’ve visited her once while she was teaching and I could just see how much the kids adored her. I learned that day that teaching kindergarten is not for the faint of heart. The kids are new to the structure that school brings, but she has the patience to help guide them and prepare them for what comes next. Those same traits Kaylee showed me 4 short years ago, she shows those children. Kaylee is a teacher they will never forget.
Miss Langman is a truly exceptional kindergarten teacher. I've had the pleasure of working with her for years, and I am in awe of her every day. She is so patient and so kind. I’ve been lucky enough to be across the hall from Miss Langman’s nurturing classroom for quite a few years. Miss Langman ensures that each child is welcomed and cared for, ensuring that all of their mental health and curriculum needs are met, on a daily basis. Each student that enters her classroom is lucky to have her as a teacher and they are in very capable hands for the remainder of the year.
Ms. Langman is an incredible kindergarten teacher — the kind every parent hopes their child will have. She has that rare blend of patience, creativity, and warmth that makes young children feel safe, curious, and excited to learn. Kaylee has empathy and compassion for her students. She has the ability to understand and share the feelings of others which has played a key factor in building the relationships she has with both students and anyone she knows. I met Kaylee when she was 4 years old. Since I have known her, she has had a positive energy that people are attracted to. Kaylee from a young age has wanted to work with children and become a teacher. It’s been a pleasure to watch her grow into a hard working young woman pursuing her passion.

No one is left behind… For my birthday her and her sister bought me concert tickets. We had to leave early for the because she HAD to go to a birthday party for one of her students. It was “mom we have to go to his party, I’ve never missed out on an invitation”. We celebrated her student and right before we left his grandmother pulled me aside and said, “it’s people like your daughter that make a difference in children’s lives. She showed up for him and she didn’t have to”.
She embodies love, patience, acceptance and strength.
No one works harder for their students than Ms. Langman. She is so passionate, loving, and dedicated. I couldn’t think of someone more deserving!
Growing up with Ms. Langman as my older sister, I can say whole heartedly that she is the reason I am who I am today and how lucky I am to have her in my life. Growing up, I was always the kid that would cry when they got school, hated being there and even ever wanted to go. But when I would come home to Kaylee, I would bring her my schoolwork from that day and beg her to play school with me. And she always would. She taught me how to spell big words that not every kindergartner knows, she played educational games with me to keep me entertained and learning, she always helped prepare me for my first days of school and even to this day she still inspires me. In first grade, I was reading at a 4th grade level and I owe a lot of that to Ms. Langman. She kept me interested, helped me see the positives of school. Even now, I graduated high school two years ago and had no interest in going back to college, however after talking to Kaylee and seeing all that she’s doing, she really helped open my eyes to different perspective and inspired me to go back to school. From helping me, my friends, and our cousins when we were her students age to now helping me at the age of 20, she truly is the best role model and teacher anyone could ask for. Some of the games and songs that I would come home and beg my sister to play with me, she inputs in her classroom and the kids absolutely love it. Getting to experience her kindness and teaching first hand, I can truly say how lucky these kids, their families, her coworkers and her family are to know her. Sissy thank you for getting me through some of the roughest school years of my life and always being there to explain things and answer my questions in the ways you knew I responded to. You truly listen to every one of your kids, learn how they learn best, and implement that into your classroom every day. It truly shows how amazing you are when your kids move up in grade and still stop by your room to hug you and show you their accomplishments. Kids from other classrooms who never had you as their teacher but still get to experience your kindness at lunch, or recess, or when you supervise another class, when they come to your room and visit you and show off their accomplishments because they know you’ll listen and celebrate them. You nature them and care for them while also making sure they know how to be independent and successful in their future grade levels. Thank you for all that you do and I just know these kids will remember you for the rest of their lives.
Words aren’t enough to describe Ms. Langman and all the brightness she brings to the kids and the school. I have the pleasure of knowing Kaylee personally and seeing her inside the classroom with these kids is truly heartwarming. They’re not scared to come to her, they always want to make her drawings and gifts, and even when they move to higher grades they have to stop by her classroom and tell her how much they miss her. She brings such a warmth to these kids and you can see it daily. From how much dedication she puts into making her room interesting and educational to forming bonds with these kids and their families, Ms. Langman is the best teacher anyone could ask for. She knows how to have fun with the kids and how to support them to be best they can be. Watching her be the teacher she is truly heals my inner child and I hope one day my child can be in her classroom. Now let’s recognize how amazing of a coworker she is. Always lending a helping hand to the teachers around her, going above and beyond for her kids, other teachers, and even other teachers students when need be. Everyone around her school knows her name and has nothing but amazing things to say. Anyone who has the privilege of stepping foot into her room is truly lucky.by showing up inside and out of the classroom for the kiddos events, sports games, birthday parties, she truly is building a connection with these kids that ultimately help them learn and grow in the classroom. I could go on forever but truly, these students, their parents and family members, and the other teachers at her school are truly lucky to have a light as bright as Ms. Langman in their lives. I love you so much sissy and I’m so lucky I’ve gotten to see you become the teacher and the person you are today.
Kaylee is full of dedication and motivation to be better and help others to be better. This is clearly seen by her actions and impact on others. She has been and will continue to be a great addition to any career she focuses on. These kids are very lucky to have her as their teacher.
Oh man, Where to start. I’m not sure if there are words to describe this girl—- ones that truly will do a description of her justice. (And she knows I’m not that great with my words but here’s to trying.)
Kaylee. How lucky am I to get a front row seat at watching you day in and day out of the classroom. I have seen you invest more in those kids than in yourself. I have seen you put your heart out on the line for them, put your own life on pause for them and consistently you find ways to support each and every kiddo.
Your involvement with them goes beyond the classroom. Kaylee, I’ve been the luckiest person in the world becuase I get to hold you when you come home after a long day of teaching them. I have seen you show up to sports, spelling bees and choir accolades that you attend on weekends or holidays. I have see you spend hours contemplating how to just uplift them with a new routine or class activity at school.
….ive also been there when you unravel with these memories and stories of the kids jsut tear you up inside . I’ll never ever forget the time you came home and you cried about one of the kids who asked you to be their mom. I remeber you coming home and jsut completely allowing urself to love each and everyone of them. I could talk about how kind you are and how thoughtful and how great a teacher you are but truly you are more than that. You’re an inspiration, you’re a role model and sometimes you are a mom or dad when there’s an absence of both in those childrens home. I cannot wait to spend a lifetime supporting you and this dream of raising our next generation of thinkers.
If they are anything like you when they grow up—they will be so successful.
Kaylee has displayed a love and passion for teaching since a very young age. The example she sets is someone who not only consistently shows up for her chosen career path but takes it intentionally further by truly connecting with her students. Her motivating factors of concern and care are obvious, ensuring her students know that they are seen, heard and that they always matter. She is one of the best out there and a life changer for the many students she interacts with every year.

It has been an absolute pleasure to watch Kaylee develop into such a caring, inspiring and educated young woman. As a child, Kaylee has always been extremely kind, thoughtful and role model to her younger family members. She is the first born grandchild and had a special bond with her grandmother Cindy. Lucinda Langman received her masters degree in education while battling terminal breast cancer and Kaylee was always there to keep her spirits high, while herself, continuing down her path as an educator. That is just one of many examples of Kaylee’s compassionate character. Kaylee has always changed everyone’s life that she comes into with for the better including her students. We are all so proud of her accomplishments thus far a will continue to be immensely impressed by her abilities, compassion and commitment to her profession as an educator.

Gosh where do I start? Miss Langman is the true definition of an angel from heaven!!!! We couldn’t have been happier to have her as Londyns kindergarten teacher!!! From the beginning until the end Miss Langman made sure our babies came first with everything !!! I don’t know where we would be academically if it wasn’t for Miss Langman. She loves and honor her title as a teacher ! She made our babies feel safe and secure. She nurtured our babies like they were hers. I’m a very over protective parent and I wasn’t so sure if I wouldn’t my baby to go but Miss Langman reassured us that everything was going to be just fine. And it was exactly that!!! She sent pictures communicated. That’s what I loved most about Miss Langman she communicated about everything , she made sure we knew what was going on and why !!!! If I could I would have her be my baby teacher until she finished high school literally can we just have her forever!!!! My baby loves her teacher , she’s mostly excited to go back to school just to see her!!! We love love love you Miss Langman and you deserve this award , you are loving , you are caring and most importantly you are yourself and you taught our babies to be themselves!!!!!!

Kaylee is such an amazing friend, teacher, daughter and community member.
