I have known Brittany for almost two decades. Brittany has always strived to further her education and better herself in the classroom. Since I’ve known Brittany, I’ve seen her positively impact, and connect with the kids she teaches in an uncanny way. Getting kids who struggle in subjects to open up to her, and allow her to find ways to get them to learn subjects that they had previously struggled with. Helping kids who could never grasp reading, or math subjects find ways to make it make sense. She motivates and connects with students who would otherwise be left behind. I’m so proud to know her, and when I heard she was nominated for this award, my thought was “Yep, that makes sense.”
