Margie Williams was nominated by Kim Daniels, the parent of a student.

Mrs. Williams taught Ms. Daniels’ youngest daughter in both second and third grade during a time when her daughter experienced significant anxiety about going to school. Known for her compassion and dedication, Mrs. Williams never lets a student struggle alone. She treats each child with respect and love, creating a classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.

“Mrs. Williams was wonderful and comforted her each day. She knew exactly what each child needed in order to feel comfortable. She took the time to learn each child’s needs and the way they learned best and catered the lessons towards them individually. I can’t imagine what my daughter’s elementary experience would’ve been like without Mrs. Williams. She absolutely goes above and beyond the expectations of a teacher. Ensuring the students learn and love school is her main priority. She is a GEM! Any child would be lucky to have her as their teacher,” said Ms. Daniels
