Beth Wireman was nominated anonymously.

Ms. Wireman creates a positive environment by encouraging her students to think and form their own opinions about the topics that they discuss in class. Students are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas without judgement. She also strives to create a space that is warm and inviting. Many rooms are sterile and lack warmth and personality. Students often comment on how homey and inviting her room is and how it always smells good.

Ms. Wireman holds a masters degree and is very involved in other aspects of her school. She is on both Student Government and Quiz Bowl, and she also coaches two girls sports at her school. She wants her students to leave middle school with good memories and a positive outlook on education.
