Ms. Robbins creates a positive classroom environment by offering her students a safe, supportive space where they feel genuinely cared for and understood. Her students know that she not only supports them academically but also stands by them through any overwhelming challenges they may face. Ms. Robbins is attentive to her students' unspoken needs, whether it’s quietly placing an eraser on a desk when a student is too hesitant to ask, or taking the time to truly listen when a student needs to be heard. With compassion in her eyes and a calm, caring presence, she helps her students work through problems in a positive and constructive way. Through these thoughtful actions, Ms. Robbins builds trust and creates a classroom culture grounded in love, empathy, and quiet encouragement.

I have watched Mrs. Robbins grow from the beginning of her teaching until about two years ago. I’ve worked with her and watched how she sits with her children and makes them feel like they are the only one in the room like they have someone to listen to their voice. She takes the extra time to find out what the students likes are and what their needs are she brings it to point by gifting them or challenging them to show them that they are worth more than they think. Mrs. Robbins always puts the safety and security of her children before anyone else. I’ve watched her speak with parents about their children’s accomplishments and the desire to get to those accomplishments and how hard they are working, and that the secure environment leads into the home as well. It was a great pleasure for me to work with Mrs. Robbins for over 20 years. She is amazing individual and she truly does deserve this award. Thank you for your time. Good luck to you, Melinda.

Mrs Robbin’s is definitely deserving of this award ! I was fortunate enough to have 2 of my kids in her class, my youngest had her the year Covid shut school down and of course she was amazing and I was so glad that’s who my daughter had to help us navigate online school and all that came with that back then! A few years Prior to that she was my sons teacher , my son struggled in math and she invited me into the classroom during math so she could not only try to help him but to help me too , so I could help him at home and with homework! But even before that I saw her around campus and she always had a smile on her face , she’s always friendly she never hesitated to volunteer to help pto with an event! And she also ran our entire after school program which meant early mornings and lots of late nights and added stress! She really amazed me with all she did I was so grateful my kids had a AMAZING teacher like her! She will always be down in my book as one of the best teachers ever! So giving and caring! The kids often call her mom because of how special she is to them!

Ms. Robbins is a mentor for a reason. She continues to shine in and outside of her classroom. She is dedicated to each and every student and leads with a stern, but caring role. I have never seen a class have such respect for a teacher.

Mrs. Robbin’s was and still is my favorite teacher. She is so kind and helped me learn that it was okay to fail and pick myself back up to succeed. I am forever grateful to have had her as a teacher.

Mrs. Robbins was my 5th grade teacher. That year was extremely difficult for me. I was having family troubles and it really took a toll on me mentally. If it wasn’t for Mrs. Robbins, it’s very possible I might have failed the 5th grade. She helped me in ways that went way beyond her pay grade. She did it because she cared. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I hadn’t had people like her in my life. And for that, I am eternally grateful.
