Christopher Bessey was nominated anonymously.

Mr. Bessey always greets his students before they walk through his door. He and his students are engaged throughout the class with discussions over science, and all questions are encouraged. He has music playing during independent work time that the students enjoy, but it is not distracting to them. There is also an incentive for the students to complete assignments on time and follow classroom rules. The students get to choose their incentive when they formulate their lab contracts at the beginning of each year.
