Celeste Frisbee was nominated anonymously.

Ms. Frisbee earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies from UMG in Administration after her Master's from UNH. She believes that creating a positive classroom environment comes from her heart. Ms. Frisbee respects students and tries to be nonjudgmental. She tries to build relationships and be positive and flexible. Ms. Frisbee does “call students out” when something is not going well, so they trust her when she tells them they are doing a good job. She teaches interactive lessons and encourages a growth mindset. Ms. Frisbee allows students to have a voice and choice in what they do. She tries to instill in them that they are part of a big picture of stewardship of our planet and that they can make a difference.

“When I come into her class, it feels like stepping into a family," said one of her students.
