Emily Johnson was nominated anonymously.

As an Intervention Specialist, Ms. Johnson works with students who may struggle academically, socially, and emotionally. She works hard to provide a space where they feel safe, seen, and supported. She likes to build positive and strong relationships with her students. This is imperative to their success and involvement in meeting their goals. 

Ms. Johnson is starting a new role this year and in need of new supplies, as her previous students had different needs and abilities. She is hoping to get more sensory and calming tools to support dysregulation. She is also hoping to get a couple of games to help build relationships with students. She additionally needs normal supplies like pencils, dry erase markers. She would also like to have a supplies of hygiene products in her room. Ms. Johnson supports students in a low income district, and she would like her students to know they have access to any supplies they might need.
