WOW. PROUD is an understatement! My sister, Kari Rogers, is not only an excellent teacher…she’s an amazing person! She deserves this award for her hard work and undeniable love for her school, students and teammates. Kari cares deeply about her kids and her team and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels included and important. Her passion for teaching is so big, she even checks in on my 3rd grade daughter (her niece) to make sure she understands her math homework and helps her through it. She is encouraging and patient and believes that every student needs love, praise and attention. She is a beautiful person inside and out and you will know it the moment you meet her. Kari deserves every bit of praise for all the long hours, hard work, time, energy, effort, money and most of all LOVE she has put into her career. SO proud of you Kari, this is what you were made for - to teach, lead, mentor and love the lives placed in your classroom. Your kids are blessed to have you, and I am blessed to have a front row seat to watch you shine! Love you! ??

As Kari Rogers’ father, I can tell you that the nomination she received for the LifeChanger of the Year award couldn’t be more fitting. Watching her grow into the teacher she is today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Kari has always had a deep sense of compassion and responsibility, even as a young girl. She brings those same values into her classroom every single day. She doesn’t just teach—she builds relationships, she creates safe spaces, and she models kindness and empathy. The fact that she begins each school day focused on emotional well-being and character development says everything about her priorities as an educator and a human being. I know how hard she works—often spending her own time and money to make sure her students have what they need. She never seeks recognition for it. She simply believes that every child deserves a chance to feel seen, supported, and successful. That’s the heart of a true LifeChanger. I’m incredibly proud of the woman and teacher she’s become. Her students are lucky to have her, and I’m even luckier to call her my daughter. With all my love and admiration, Kevin Kilpatrick Proud Dad of Kari Rogers
