Amber Dimich was nominated anonymously.

Ms. Dimich, who has a Master's in Art and Arts Education, has a teaching style that has been affectionately dubbed "Art à la Carte". Essentially, she rolls all her art supplies and resources into multiple classrooms at every school and teaches within the atmospheric restrictions of their classroom teacher. She establishes a positive classroom environment through consistency and her tone.

Ms. Dimich's teaching philosophy is focused on personal meaning, or making through art. She wants her students to see themselves in their artwork, not her or her example. The environment she tries to create is one focused on storytelling and personal interests and choices. Her entire environment is reliant on what projects she chooses for her students and how she addresses them.

Ms. Dimich models respect through actions and tone, and would like that to be reciprocal. She is also still actively practicing her school's PAX behavior program. She has her fifth graders exhibit their work at the Yellowstone Art Museum and her fourth graders exhibit theirs at Rimrock Mall.
