Maggie Melvin was nominated anonymously.

Ms. Melvin loves creating hands-on lessons for her students, whether that’s through digital media like Canva or Google Suites, or “pen” and paper activities. Those types of lessons get her students to use their artistic abilities, and make the learning process more engaging. Ms. Melvin's most pressing needs are basic supplies like markers, colored pencils, etc.

In addition to her teaching, Ms. Melvin was the yearbook advisor at Skyview for 5 years. She also just spent a year doing interior design—one of her passions. Both of these experiences allowed her to express herself artistically.
