Jessica Heier was nominated anonymously.

Ms. Heier has a Master's in Learning and Technology and won the One Class at a Time Award in 2022. She makes it a point to build relationships with her students by taking an interest in their lives, goals, hobbies, and well-being. Ms. Heier gives all students the opportunity to discover what they are good at. She also teaches them life skills. She has over 350 students per year, with a very minimal budget. Her class includes cooking labs as well as sewing projects.
