I have worked alongside Maria Ventura for over ten years. Each year her growth as an educator and amazing human being is outstanding. Having Maria as a cousin who is and has been an amazing teacher for years is truly a blessing. I have known Ms.ventura since our college years back in cal state Fullerton; she has always wanted to be a teacher and demonstrated her dedication to education a long time ago. I have had the privilege to be her friend since then and have watched her advocate for her kids and school. She gave her students courage when the odds were against them.
