Susan Williams was nominated Brittany Gartrell, the parent of a student.

"Susan has made a beneficial difference in the lives of students at Rochelle School of the Arts for over 20 years. I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside her, and the blessing of having both my children learn under her. She positively adds value to each child that enters her classroom by instilling a love for learning about Civics and History. She has represented our school through the Flight to Honor program, modeling what gratitude and service looks like in our community. Her record of excellent teaching and long-standing professionalism have left a noticeable impression on the students and staff she works with. Ms. Williams has an incredible gift for teaching that goes far beyond the classroom. Her dedication, kindness, and genuine belief in her students have left a lasting impact on so many lives. Even now, the lessons she taught—both academic and personal—continue to inspire confidence, curiosity, and growth. She truly made a difference, and her influence will be felt for years to come.

Even though this is our first year working together, I see the hard work and dedication that Mrs. Williams put into her lessons for her students. She is passionate and I love her whole heart! She is who our babies need and she gives them 115% every single day!
