Miss Jurgens is a PHENOMENAL teacher. I've known & worked with her for the past 15+ years. She meets each child where they are and works tirelessly to ensure that each student gets what THEY need to be successful. She is fun, loving, and kind. She has great classroom management skills and her students learn how to be respectful, kind, and to do their best. She has always had a great connection with the families of her students, and even stays in touch with some of them years and years later. Miss Jurgens is a great teacher, colleague, and friend. I value and appreciate all the time that I've gotten to work beside her. She's #1, son! ??

Beyond experiencing her light within the classroom setting, Ms.Jurgens has always opened her home to me and been a maternal figure for the last decade of my life. I’m grateful to say that I’m a family friend and I’ve experienced the endless extent of her heart. She is truly what great educators are made of. I’m so proud of you!!

We first met Ms. Jurgens when our son started kindergarten in her class. He was incredibly uneasy and had a mind of his own. He had already decided how kindergarten was going to go and it wasn’t going to be easy. To say she was Amazing doesn’t begin to cover how she turned his views on school around. Our soon to be high school freshman ( in a couple weeks) is ready and excited for the new challenge and we absolutely give Ms Jurgens credit for a large part of his excitement and dedication to learning.
