Ms. Harris ! I have tons of wonderful things to say about Ms Harris. Starting Kindergarten as a Type One Diabetic is NOT easy, not for the child, teacher or parent. Ms Harris took her by the hand and said we got this! She made such an impact on my child’s first year of school, great communication, soft hearted, and very knowledgeable. She’s open to learning about each student of hers. She pays attention to detail and is always on the ready! Whether that be a type one diabetic child of hers needing a snack or who had what for lunch and how much of it they ate. Cora never misses a moment to give her a hug. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I want to take a moment to recognize Farrin Harris and the incredible impact she has had on my daughter as her cheer coach. From the very beginning, Ms. Harris brought such a positive and uplifting energy to the team. She helped the girls understand that cheerleading is not just about the routines and performances—it's about having fun, being lighthearted, and still showing up with professionalism and pride every time they step on the field. Farrin created an environment where the cheerleaders felt supported and connected, encouraging strong friendships and a true sense of team spirit. She helped the girls believe in themselves and built their confidence in ways that reached far beyond cheer practice. Thanks to her guidance and encouragement, I truly believe my daughter’s love for cheer has grown tremendously. Ms. Harris didn’t just coach the team—she inspired them. And for that, I’m deeply grateful.

Ms Harris was my daughter’s TA when she first started at TJ. She was quiet and reserved. She has blossomed into such an outgoing person and the girls & kids in general just love her! As a cheer coach, she always takes into consideration what the girls want and how they feel about things, and she goes above and beyond to make sure every event they look nice and are celebrated! Congratulations on being nominated, truly well deserved! My family loves and appreciates you! ????

Farrin is not just a teacher or coach to me. She is a person that I can come to when I’m struggling. She makes me feel included and always congratulates me. She really is a great person!

Even though Farrin wasn’t my actual teacher, she’s had one of the biggest impacts on my life as a coach. Like seriously , the way she pushes us to be better but still makes us feel seen and supported—it’s something I’ll never forget. She’s taught me way more than just how to get better at cheer; she’s taught me how to be confident, how to not give up on myself, and how to keep going even when stuff gets hard. She believes in us so hard, even when we don’t believe in ourselves, and that honestly means everything. I’ve grown so much being coached by her, and I feel lucky to have had someone like her in my corner. She’s tough when she needs to be, but always real, and that’s what makes her so special. I’ll always be grateful for the impact she’s had on me.

Farrin Harriss changed my life in 4th grade when she was the assistant teacher and taught me to be confident in myself, and also taught me how to dance.
