Ms. Lind is a dedicated sixth-grade math teacher who creates a positive classroom environment through intentional reinforcement, genuine care, and a focus on student growth. She ensures every student feels welcomed, valued, and capable of success, both academically and personally. By promoting a growth mindset and designing accessible, supportive learning experiences, she empowers students to build confidence and take ownership of their learning.

Ms. Lind teaches all sixth-grade math students at her school, which is about 120 learners, more than half of whom are English Language Learners. With only one-third currently performing at grade level, she is seeking funding for hands-on math manipulatives and educational games to better support her students. Tools like fraction bars, place value blocks, percentage models, and algebra tiles will make abstract math concepts more concrete, while games will boost engagement and reinforce key skills. These resources will help close learning gaps, build confidence, and foster a more positive, encouraging experience with math.
