Ms. Lauer is a dedicated educator who fosters a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels safe, supported, and empowered. At her Title I school, she focuses on building strong relationships, promoting kindness and respect, and maintaining clear, consistent expectations. Through engaging lessons and a culture rooted in encouragement and belonging, her students are inspired to take risks, grow, and thrive both academically and personally. To support her students’ social-emotional growth and independence, Ms. Lauer's classroom needs resources help students regulate emotions, stay focused, and manage daily routines. She also uses diverse books, manipulatives, and academic games to foster curiosity and a love of learning. Ms. Lauer holds a Master’s degree in education with a focus on supporting English language learners. Her specialized training allows her to make instruction more accessible, support language development across subjects, and create a welcoming environment where multilingual students feel confident and successful.
