Kimberly Folle was nominated anonymously.

Ms. Folle fosters a positive classroom environment by establishing strong, respectful relationships with her students from the outset. She greets them warmly each morning, celebrates their progress, big or small, and sets clear expectations while also modeling empathy and kindness. She makes sure her classroom feels like a safe space where every child is seen, valued, and supported.

Ms. Folle also incorporates culturally responsive practices and collaborative activities to foster a sense of community and recognize each student's unique background and voice. A positive environment starts with connection, and she works daily to nurture that connection through consistency, encouragement, and genuine care. Her goal is to create a more interactive, student-centered math classroom where kids can explore, discuss, and truly understand math, not just memorize steps. Throughout her teaching career, many of her students have demonstrated significant growth on state testing, particularly in math. Their progress reflects the rigorous instruction, targeted support, and positive classroom culture she works hard to create each year.

Kimberly is my aunt, but she is also a huge inspiration for me! I followed her steps into college, majoring in communications, and I want to be a teacher as well! Kimmie is so hard working and resilient, whatever you throw her way, she will figure it out one way or another! I am very blessed to have a great mentor when going into education and childcare. I could not ask for a better person to look up to and I know all of her students are blessed to have her.

Kimberly is the kind of teacher every child deserves—patient, passionate, and full of heart. She brings learning to life with creativity and care, making every student feel seen, heard, and valued. Her classroom is more than just a place to learn; it’s a space where confidence grows, curiosity is celebrated, and kindness is the standard. Whether she's explaining a tough concept or comforting a worried student, Kimberly does it all with grace and warmth. Her impact reaches far beyond the lessons—she’s shaping lives, inspiring young minds, and making a difference every single day.

I can’t think of anyone more deserving of the Life Changer of the Year award than my sister, Kimberly Folle. As a 5th grade teacher in the Clark County School District, she embodies what it means to not just teach, but to transform lives. Kimberly brings her full heart into the classroom every single day. She sees each child not just for who they are, but for who they can become. She creates a safe space where students feel valued, understood, and inspired. Whether she’s helping a struggling reader find confidence or staying late to prepare a lesson that will spark curiosity, Kimberly never stops giving. Her patience, empathy, and belief in her students have left a lasting impact, not just on their academic journey, but on their lives as young people growing into themselves. She goes beyond curriculum. She teaches kindness. She models resilience. She encourages growth. And she does it all without expecting recognition, just with the quiet hope that she’s making a difference. As her sister, I’ve witnessed how deeply she cares, not just about teaching, but about every single child who walks through her door. She is a life changer in every sense of the word. I am so proud of her and hope she is recognized.
