Mrs. Townsend always loved school as a child. It was a fun and meaningful outlet for her, where many of her teachers sparked a deep love for reading and learning. Their influence inspired her to become a teacher herself. Today, Mrs. Townsend strives to pass that same inspiration on to her students. She is committed to creating a classroom that is not only educational, but also a welcoming and exciting place where students genuinely want to be. In 2023, she earned her master’s degree in early childhood education with a concentration in special education.
