Mrs. Lobbestael creates a positive environment for her students by building strong relationships with them. Students will go the extra mile when they know they are heard, trusted, respected, and safe. She believes that each student needs individual time to be understood, and once that relationship is built, a community of learners falls into place.

Mrs. Lobbestael has taught for 14 years, starting with kindergarten before moving to second grade, which she has taught for the past nine years. On paper, Mrs. Lobbestael appears to be a straightforward teacher, but the truth is that she is a LifeChanger. She works hard to educate children, allowing them not only to grow academically and emotionally, but also to enjoy their time doing so.
