I have worked with Kari for several years. She has a wonderful heart for the students that she has had over the years and is always willing to go above and beyond to help!

Ms. Myers does a fantastic job supporting our students in their alternative academic diploma pathway. She and our other staff at the high school work hard to empower students to understand their disability and to be able to articulate their needs. Even those students who do not have a strong communication skillset, she works closely enough that she is able to understand their nonverbal cues, their stressors, and triggers to be able to guide them through skill and content mastery. She partners with other students in the high school to give students peer models/buddies to work alongside and supports inclusion in the academic community setting.

Kari is compassionate and always loves on her students. She communicates continuously with parents and teachers to make sure she is up to date on all the happenings of her students. She teaches with integrity and helps out her fellow colleagues without complaint. We love her here at FCHS and hope to teach together for many years.

She always goes above being a teacher. Our students can always go to her for listening, comfort or encouragement.
