LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Andrea Freeze was nominated anonymously. 

Mrs. Freeze is a LifeChanger to her students because she genuinely puts them first. She treats her students with respect, truly cares about their well-being, and supports them when needed. She has changed so many students' lives and shown them that they can be cared for and listened to on a personal level. Outside the classroom, she is very involved as an FBLA advisor who helps her club officers. She contributes to her school's positive atmosphere by making everyone feel welcome in her classroom. She tries to make her students' days more positive, even if it's just through a simple conversation in the hallway. Her classroom is a safe place for her students, and she works hard to maintain that balance. She has been teaching for 16 years and served as an FBLA advisor for 10 years. She also served as a Yearbook advisor for three years and led her school's Out of the Darkness suicide prevention walk for three years.
