Peggy Machacek was nominated anonymously. 

"When I was in grades K5, second, and third at St. Bruno Parish School, my teacher was Mrs. Machacek. When I was growing up, there were many things I needed help with, and Mrs. Machacek was always there to help.  Mrs. Machacek taught me to be kind and supportive. Little lessons like these helped shape me into a better person. Mrs. Machacek not only taught me how to be kind to all, but she also taught me the most important thing in my life: my faith. My faith has grown so much throughout my life, and it started when I was very young with the help of Mrs. Machacek and my other teachers. Later, in middle and high school, when I no longer had her as a teacher, we still stayed in touch. Whenever I saw her in school or after Sunday mass, she always smiled and was excited to hear what I had been up to. I've known her for so long, and she has always been the same caring and loving person. She inspires me to have the same attitude and show others the kindness that she does. So, thank you, Mrs. Machacek, for helping me grow in my faith and become a better, more compassionate person," said the nominator.
