LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Alix Neville was nominated by a student.

"Mrs. Neville is my nominee for LifeChanger of the Year because, during my two years at Arrowhead High School, there have been many times when she has brightened my day and lifted my spirits. Going into her study hall last year, I was new and didn't know anyone. She would sit and talk to me and let me rant about how frustrating it was to transfer and how much I just wanted to be done with high school," said the student.

"She checks on me and many other students throughout the day, creating a safe haven for kids struggling to escape and breathe for a few minutes. She is very involved in our lives and almost treats us as if we are her own children, which can impact the kids who may not have great relationships with their families," said the student.

"She is concerned for all of us. She wants to help as much as possible and is always there to greet us with a smile on her face. I know for a fact that without Mrs. Neville, I wouldn't enjoy school as much, and many other kids would feel the same way," said the student.
