Jenny Eikenberg was nominated by a parent of a student, Georgine Ngoumela Hernandes.
"Jenny Eikenberg is an amazing teacher. The students she is teaching this year are children mostly born and raised during the COVID-19 pandemic. They were very isolated, and it has not been easy for them to integrate with others, but Ms. Eikenberg has succeeded in including them and bringing them together," said Ngoumela Hernandes. "She provides a safe, productive, and orderly learning environment that equips students with essential literacy skills. In all content areas, she helps students develop the high-level thinking and reasoning skills necessary to be successful learners. She sends a daily card to parents with a color code to communicate the progress of their children's critical thinking skills. She provides an environment that is fun, engaging, and customized to meet the needs of our children."

As the husband of Ms. Eikenberg, I have witnessed firsthand the unwavering dedication she brings to her craft, shaping young minds in Pre-School and Pre-K at Hebbville Elementary for the past 13 years. Jenny’s mission is simple yet profound: to always do what’s best for her students. She is a fighter—relentless in her belief that every child has the potential to succeed. She goes beyond the classroom, ensuring parents have the tools to support their child’s development, creating a foundation for lifelong learning.
I have never met a teacher like Mrs.Eikenberg and I have 6 kids! She has taught my last 3 children and to say she is amazing is an understatement. She made the beginning of their school experience such a welcoming and caring time. As children just leaving home and going out in the world to start school, they are scared and hesitant. Us as parents are scared and nervous as well. Mrs.Eikenberg embraced my children and met them where they were. She gets to know all of her students and helps them learn individually how they need to be taught. Her fun loving presence, attentiveness, patience, attention to detail, her passion for teaching, and the love she shows her students is definitely a positive foundation for any student to start from. I am so blessed and grateful that my students had the opportunity to have and learn from Mrs.Eikenberg. She has definitely left a huge and positive impact on my family.

Ms. Eikenberg is one of the most caring and dedicated educators I have had the pleasure of working with. She is unwavering in her commitment to meeting the needs of every student, regardless of the challenge, and her success is amplified by the strong, trusting relationships she builds with parents and families. Her instructional approach is both creative and innovative, laying a powerful foundation for lifelong learning. There is no doubt that many students have achieved remarkable success in later grades because of the nurturing, skillful start they received in Ms. Eikenberg’s Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten classroom.

Miss Eikenberg is a Pre - K Teacher. I admire how she interacts with parents and with students. She has this communication color code of faces and rating for each of her students that tells every single day how the student behaved. This helps parents to actively participate to the education of the child emphasizing the difference between instruction and education. Being parent and feeling involved and in partnership with the education of the children is just Amazing.
I feel happy and hope that her kindness and dedication will shine and inspire the little ones, the youth and many generations to come.
