Tamesha Ard was nominated by her principal, Elizabeth Bailey.
Mrs. Ard strives to live out her "calling" daily in her classroom. Her motto is to treat others as you would treat yourself. Mrs. Ard had a partner teacher who had to be out due to surgery. Instead of that class being taught by a substitute teacher, Mrs. Ard and two other partner teachers took on six additional students to her classroom.
Mrs. Ard is not only a fantastic teacher but a leader on the campus. She strives to be the best for her students. Mrs. Ard is the first to volunteer to help others in need, lend a listening ear, or stop and say a quick prayer. She is a leader not only on campus but off campus as well.
"She has touched my life by being my prayer warrior at school and home!" said Bailey.
