Mr. Johnson is a true LifeChanger in the Camden City community and at Dr. Henry H. Davis Family School. As a dedicated School-Based Youth Services team member, he supports students in grades 4-8, ensuring they have the resources and mentorship needed to thrive. His commitment extends beyond the school day—Mr. Johnson volunteers as a Boy Scout leader, runs a soccer club, leads the drama club, and supports the F.L.Y. Financial Literacy Club. As the founder and advisor of the city's only National Junior Honor Society, he empowers students to excel academically and as leaders. Mr. Johnson also advises the safety patrol and mentors middle school students. He fosters a strong sense of community through monthly family nights, including paint night, make-your-own pizza, and bingo. Additionally, he helps students access gaming systems after school and runs an open gym every Friday. Through his unwavering dedication, Mr. Johnson is transforming the lives of Camden's youth, one student at a time.
Mr. Johnson is incredibly deserving of this award. He is kind, patient and truly cares about each and every student in our school.
Mr. Johnson always has time for everyone and makes all students and teachers feel very special. He always has a smile on his face and goes out of his way to help anyone in need. Mr. Johnson goes above and beyond to create fun activites and events for the students and their families to enjoy together. He is pulled in so many different directions, but he never complains, he just willingly helps out whoever needs it. The students love to spend time with Mr. Johnson and he offers it up every day, whether it be for lunch buddies, special programs or just to talk. Mr. Johnson is an integral part of Davis School and the kids would be lost without him!

His positivity and dedication foster a strong sense of community, making everyone feel included and valued. By going above and beyond to support and uplift those around him, Aasim has become a trusted role model and a true life-changer in the school.
The Kids like Mr.Johnson, even in the lunch period, they always ask me if they can go to Mr.Johnson's room. When they see him in hallway, they are always very excited to say "Hi,Mr.Johnson". He is indeed "the King of the kids".

Mr. Aasim Johnson is a life changer! He supports the children of Davis Family School in more ways than I am even aware of. He is there for them, always! He also supports the staff by stopping by our rooms to check on us, helping us with students, and by even sending personal texts at holidays and such. With Mr. Johnson, its the little things, those things that make you smile and get you through the day. He is a breath of fresh air.
