"I have known him since seventh-grade. He was a class clown, and now, he's Vice Superintendent. I had a concern, and he took time to talk. I could tell he cared. He gave me advice to try to help the situation. I have seen him go from teacher, to Principal, to Vice Superintendent. That takes dedication," said Thompson.
