LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Sally Wheeler was nominated by her friend, Karen Lipska. 

Three words to describe Ms. Wheeler are ambitious, giving, and encouraging. Ms. Wheeler is determined to get each of her students to extend themselves to the best of their ability. She has shown the students how incredible they are and encourages them to learn. The students demonstrate their knowledge through leadership, volunteering, and a willingness to learn more skills to show their peers.

"I have watched and attended events where her students are the first to lend a helping hand," said Lipska.

These students volunteer at animal shelters and food pantries, help the Pine Bluffs Lions Club at different events, and put on blood drives. Her students show leadership in various clubs, at school, and in sports.

"I have watched her teach students with low self-esteem, helping them bloom into excellent public speakers," Lipska added. "Ms. Wheeler is humble and shows her capabilities through her students. I love visiting with her students. They have the confidence to tackle the world. One of her students became a Wyoming State officer."

"Ms. Wheeler always has a smile on her face, even when things are not going well. I am honored to nominate her as a LifeChanger. She has touched people's hearts along with her students," Lipska concluded.
