"Mrs. Christiansen has changed so many lives at Big Piney Elementary School. I have a child with unique learning needs, and she has never once made my child feel less than. She has always given me hope for what the future holds, and she always pushes my child and holds her to high expectations. She explains things in a direct, understandable way to ensure we are aware of my child's needs. I have spoken to other parents of children she teaches, and they've said that she extends this same care and attention to all of her students! She truly makes every child feel like they are her favorite. I am so thankful my child had her before moving into middle school," said the nominator.
