Stephanie Garrett was nominated anonymously. 

"Mrs. Garrett is a remarkable individual, and I have the privilege of witnessing her dedication to the art and science of teaching," said the nominator. "She is passionate about helping her students succeed. As a first-grade teacher, Mrs. Garrett firmly believes that her students can and will achieve their goals."

She takes an individualized approach to meet each student where they are and provides them with a clear pathway to success. Her superpower lies in helping her students discover the strength within themselves. Mrs. Garrett genuinely cares for the well-being of her students and is committed to seeing everyone she encounters succeed. Her generosity is evident in her role as a mentor for first- and second-year teachers at her school.

As the grade chair, she also acts as a liaison between the administration team and her colleagues. Her dedication and commitment to the teaching profession were recognized when the administration, faculty, and staff selected her as the 2024 Teacher of the Year.
