As the son of the founders of Macedonian Christian Academy (MCA), Mr. Curling has devoted his life to upholding the legacy of service, sacrifice, and education that his parents, Dr. William and Mary Jane Curling, began over 35 years ago. MCA was established in 1987 in response to a pressing need within the community. What began as an evening tutoring program for 18 students quickly evolved into a full-fledged academy, driven by Mary Jane Curling's recognition of a higher calling to educate children of local ministry families. Today, MCA remains a beacon of hope and academic excellence, operating as a nonprofit private school funded solely through donations and tuition. This incredible institution continues to thrive under the steadfast leadership and selfless dedication of Mr. Santiago Curling.
Mr. Curling has played an instrumental role in MCA's enduring success. As an educator, administrator, and community leader, he has tirelessly worked to ensure that the academy fulfills its mission to provide exceptional education and spiritual guidance. His leadership is defined by humility, perseverance, and a deep commitment to serving others. Moreover, he is deeply rooted in his Sports Ministry, particularly with basketball coaching. Through his passion for sports, Mr. Curling has created opportunities for young people to develop discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills by using basketball for personal and spiritual growth.
