"Dr. Serrano has been such an amazing part of our Cavett team! She is 100% dedicated to the wellness and education of our first-grade class," said the nominator.
Dr. Serrano has been given quite the load this school year, with 31 students in her class, and she has handled it with ease. Even with so many students, she still takes the time to show each student the same amount of attention and care and makes sure her students feel safe and cared for. She shows up every day and shows her students how to try their best and achieve greatness. Dr. Serrano also takes part in Cavett’s after school program, 21st Century, as a tutor and soccer coach. She is an amazing example of what it means to SOAR at Cavett Elementary, and she deserves every bit of credit for everything she does.
