Ms. Valdez-Rodgers has a proven ability to make a beneficial difference in the lives of her students. Students from years down the road have come back and remembered her impact on their lives.
"I am actually one of her former students turned colleagues! She is just an amazing colleague and teacher. She always encourages us to positively add to the school atmosphere and is so spirited that it's contagious," said Tieu-Mitchell.
Leadership is also apparent to her, even if she does not want to admit it. She makes it look so easy with over 30 years of experience within the district and school! She is also a great person to go to for advice or help.
