Mrs. Webber-Graff is my ASL teacher and makes the class so much fun! I'm not the person to like any of my classes, but I love going to that class, she makes it seem like it's not school work. She's a great librarian as well. I'm definitely not the type of person to read books but she found a way to get me the perfect book for me, all she did was ask what interests. Now I love to read and I love learning ASL. I'm so thankful to have a teacher like her!

There's so much to say about how Mrs. Webber-Graff deserves this award, it's hard to simplify it into one comment. She is always kind both in and out of class, making sure her students are being the best people they can be. I've seen her comfort students multiple times, letting them know she is able and willing to help, and she never fails to listen if you need help or just someone to talk to. Also, she is just a really good teacher and I have learned a lot in her class, you can tell she knows how to run a classroom. Overall, I hope Mrs. Webber-Graff gets this award because she really deserves it and I know many people who would say the same! Thank you. Amy Folino

There are too many words I have for Mrs. Webber-Graff. It would be only right to say how she's impacted my life. My Name is Darlene Derick Salle, and I am a student at Andrada Polytechnic High School. Though we haven't had many talks, I remember a specific way. My Teacher told our class she wouldn't be at school that day, and instead, we would be spending time in the library. When I got there, she was like a breath of fresh air. She's one of the most genuine people I have met. She showed genuine interest in me, and I felt right at home, not just because the library was quiet that day, and like always. I think a life-changer is someone who is supportive, genuine, and cares about you without any benefit. Even a Mentor. That's who Ms. Webber-Graff is. p.s. Ill stop before this gets too long. :)

Mrs. Webber-Graff was the sole reason that I was able to make it through high school, her words of kindness and encouragement were always able to make my days better and motivate me to make it through the day. During my senior year came the darkest part of my life, and when I started reaching for a helping hand, I found Mrs. Webber-Graffs, she pulled me through the darkness and helped me to be happy again. I truly believe that Mrs. Webber-Graff saved my life with her kindness, and that it's because of her that I am who I am today. She wasnt just my asl teacher, she was my best friend and savior. Mrs. Webber-Graff has drastically changed my life for the better. Thank you for everything Mrs. Webber-Graff

In the most simple terms, Nancy is my former teacher and current coworker. But I can honestly say that I would not have begun my career in education or have found myself in my current position if it was not for Nancy Webber-Graff. I had the privilege of having Nancy as my Career Explorations teacher my senior year of high school. I knew the profession I wanted to go into, but I didn’t really know how to navigate my life post high school. Nancy selflessly stayed after school on multiple occasions to help me fill out applications and write letters to colleges. I felt tremendous encouragement from Nancy to seek out my dream. While I ultimately did not take the path that Nancy and I worked late after school to pursue, I decided to apply as a paraprofessional at the new school where she was working. She recommended me and I found myself as a paraprofessional in her American Sign Language classroom. In my years working with Nancy I have learned that she started her journey with American Sign Language as an interpreter, then a teacher, and has been practicing and refining her skill set for decades. But it is not just her knowledge that makes her incredible. Nancy has an indisputable passion for American Sign Language and the culture that surrounds it. Her excitement and spirit truly resonates with so many of her students, myself included. I was so compelled that I took ASL college courses of my own. I can even remember a weekend on Nancy’s very own birthday where she took myself and a group of her ASL students to a DeafNation Expo. The experience was incredible and shared the culture, needs, language, and information of Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals. Nancy takes all of these components and more and uses them to drive her instruction and engage her students. It is not just Nancy’s skill, experience, and passion that qualifies her as amazing or a true leader. Nancy is also the most kind, generous, and compassionate person I have ever met. In Nancy’s life and in her classroom she always fosters inclusivity and acceptance. I have always described her as a positive ray of light that brightens even the worst of days. Nancy’s character is truly unparalleled. Love you Nance! ????
