"Ms. Boquiren is inspiring, compassionate, and dedicated. Her dedication to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment has had an impact on my life. Ms. Boquiren's history classes, Ethnic Studies, and AP US History have ignited my passion for learning and equipped me with the critical thinking and empathy skills necessary to navigate the world's complexities," said the student.

"Beyond the classroom, Ms. Boquiren has been an unwavering mentor and confidante. She has played a pivotal role in our school's Model United Nations Club, investing countless hours to provide a platform for students to grow as public speakers and engage with peers worldwide. Through her guidance, I have deepened my passion for global events, history, and politics. One particular interaction with Ms. Boquiren that significantly impacted me was during a Model UN conference where I was tasked with chairing a committee solo. I felt overwhelmed and anxious about the responsibility, I was unsure of my abilities. Ms. Boquiren was immediately able to recognize my feelings of anxiety and uncertainty. She reached out to offer her support and encouragement. She reminded me of my strengths and reassured me that I could handle the challenge. Her belief in me boosted my confidence and helped me to navigate the demanding role successfully," said the student.

"Ms. Boquiren is one of the strongest people I know. In every class, she reminded me to be fierce and confident in my identity. She instilled in me the courage to speak up for myself and others and the importance of approaching difficult situations with empathy and understanding. Ms. Boquiren's ability to connect with students personally and her unwavering belief in their abilities have made her an invaluable asset to our school community.
