Felicia Hill was nominated by a student, Quanterria Lane.

Ms.Hill has had a great effect on Lane's life. She changed Lane's attitude regarding school work in a matter of a few months. She's always smiling and has a positive attitude about making sure her students are successful in school. She's a great teacher and she truly cares about her students.

"When she first arrived in class, nobody was completing their work, but when she joined our classroom in the middle of the year, there was a big turn around," Lane said. Hill explained to her students the importance of having a good education. She showed them their progress by posting their successes on the wall.

"It is always a loving atmosphere when she's around. She's always motivating students to complete their work and do their best. She even went out of her way to show me how to complete job applications online and how to call and check up on them," Lane said. "She didn't hesistate to write a letter of recommendation for me after I interviewed for a job at a local restaurant. She's definitey my life changer of the year!"
