"Mrs. Knutson has been an amazing teacher for both my freshman and sophomore years of high school. I could go to her for anything and trust that there is no judgment. She has been a LifeChanger to me because she has immensely impacted my life. Even though she is my teacher, she is truly a friend," said the nominator.

Mrs. Knutson is a truly kick AVID teacher. (You see what I did there?) She always wants more for her students and believes in them even when they don’t believe in themselves. Whenever I’m ready to give up (which I hate to admit is pretty frequent) she swoops in and encourages you to keep going. She has been and always will be someone I can count on and something I admire is that she is not a sugarcoater (don’t tell her I made that word up) and she will tell you how it is. Her honesty, bluntness, and compassion is what makes her so impactful.

In my short time of knowing her, Mrs. Knutson has shown time and time again that she cares and wants success for each of her individual students. Her kindness and feedback have encouraged me to try my hardest. I know me and many other students will remember her for many years to come.
