Ashley Rogan was nominated by her colleague, Dijana Spahic.
"Ms. Rogan is our seventh-grade Civics Teacher, and her students get so excited to come to her class!" said Spahic.
She engages the students in mock elections to teach them about the power of voting. She has taken the students to City Hall to hold mock debates. She also scheduled visitors such as the councilmen and the mayor to visit and engage with the students!
"I could go on and on about how much she enjoys teaching young minds about Civics, but that just proves how much she deserves the LifeChanger Award," Spahic added.
