Cassandra Wallace was nominated by her colleague, Dijana Spaphic.
Ms. Wallace teaches third grade English language arts (ELA), but she does more than that. She loves ELA, and it shows in how she teaches the young students. For example, she hosted an "Edgar Allan Poe-try" slam for her students while teaching them poetry and the life of Edgar Allan Poe. Her students even dressed up as Poe for Book Character Day because they enjoyed learning about him and the lessons she taught. It’s teachers like her that exemplify what it means to be a LifeChanger.
