Linda Medina-Lopez was nominated by family member, Jose Lopez. 

Mrs. Medina-Lopez serves as the Executive Director of the Pflugerville Education Foundation (PEF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to equipping every Pflugerville ISD student with the tools and opportunities to realize their full potential. Through strategic community collaboration, PEF celebrates student achievements and funds innovative teaching grants that enhance academic success. Over the past three years, Mrs. Medina-Lopez has elevated PEF's impact through visionary leadership and a creative approach to partnerships. She inspires others to give back by forging meaningful connections between businesses, individuals, and the school district. Among her signature initiatives is the Annual Principal for a Day program, which provides community partners with a firsthand understanding of the district's schools and their unique needs. Mrs. Medina-Lopez's career embodies a deep passion for education as a catalyst for change. Her intentional and tireless efforts have not only strengthened PEF’s mission but also built a culture of generosity that empowers students and educators alike.
